Ginger Shulick Porcella, Founder

Ginger Shulick Porcella holds an M.A in Socio-Cultural Anthropology from Columbia University and a B.A. in Art History from DePaul University. She is a recent recipient of a National Arts Strategies Fellowship for Emerging Arts Leaders, a National Endowment for the Arts Challenge America Grant for her exhibition "The Sixth Sense and Other Myths" at New York City Industries for the Blind, and a curatorial grant from the Danish Agency for Culture. Porcella has more than ten years arts administration experience, including a successful history of development and fundraising for arts organizations and individual artists. Porcella is a frequent lecturer on topics related to contemporary curatorial practices and arts administration.

As an independent curator, Porcella focuses largely on projects that expand the dialogue around the intersection of art, architecture, and anthropology. Porcella is an Associate Curator with Artist Pension Trust and has curated exhibitions for galleries and museums across the U.S. including "LUMEN", an international video and performance art festival (Founder and Head Curator 2010 and 2011); "Ivory Tower", a video exhibition concurrent with Art Basel Miami Beach 2011; "Boys to Men", a traveling photography exhibition; "The Typhoon Continues and So Do You" at Flux Factory; "The Sixth Sense and Other Myths" at NYC Industries for the Blind"; the multi-media exhibitions "Relic" and "Future/Past"; and the upcoming "Beyond Limits" biennale.

Natalia Mount, Director

Natalia Mount holds an M.A. in Arts Administration and an MBA in Media Management, and has more than twelve years experience as a cultural worker, entrepreneur, and ingenious marketeer. She is the co-founder of FLUXable Art Space, a nonprofit arts organization that engages underprivileged communities in collaborative creative practice and critical dialogue. She is also the co-founder of Fluxable Publicity & Events Agency, NEXT Art Gallery, and Red House Art Radio. As an Executive Leader in the nonprofit sector, Mount has developed and produced over forty theatre productions, art exhibitions, special events, new commissions, arts education and public programs. She has worked in high profile institutions such as MoMA PS1, Clocktower Gallery and ARTonAIR.org, and Jordan McGrath Case & Taylor. Mount has raised millions for new ideas, art programs and projects, and has a deep understanding of the creative process. Her versatile background and erudition contribute greatly to her ability to make a mark within many diverse environments. As a curator, Mount is interested in ideas surrounding simulation, media saturation, commoditization (specifically in Eastern Europe), and the development of universal social media identity. She has curated numerous exhibitions including "Decadent Eclipse", "Of, For, By", and "XAYC/HOUSE", among others.

Don Porcella, Artist Liaison

Don Porcella is a visual artist living and working in New York City. Utilizing his own personal experience as a professional artist for the past 30 years, Don is able to offer unique insight into the needs of artists. Don has created artwork in the form of sculpture, painting, drawing, animation, video, performance, sound and music, and understands the issues surrounding these mediums. Don holds a B.A. in Psychology from U.C. San Diego, a B.F.A. in Painting/Drawing from California College of Arts and Crafts, and an M.F.A. in Painting/Drawing from CUNY Hunter College.

In addition to being a professional artist, Don also has worked as a curator, gallery director, arts administrator, and art critic. Having worked as the Programs Director of Kala Art Institute in Berkeley, California, artist assistant to David Salle, and Admissions Counselor for CCAC, Don is able to successfully navigate all aspects of an artists’ trajectory and career path. His extensive art world experience gives him valuable insight in all facets of the art world and what artists need most in establishing and maintaining a presence in the art world.
